Paying for a year does not hand you a year of allowance on day one. It arrives month by month, the same as it does on a monthly plan: twelve allowances over twelve months, and each one resets rather than piling up.
Where about 15 carousels a month comes from
Starter comes with 1,500 credits a month. Making one end to end means reading your website, writing the slides, rewriting a few of them and writing the caption. All of that together reserves 114 credits. Carouza sets that much aside before it starts and gives back whatever the work did not need, so what a carousel costs is lower than what it reserved. About 15 carousels a month is where those two figures meet.
It is a number to plan against, not a ceiling. A carousel you barely touch costs less than one you rework twice. No action is ever charged more than the price printed on its own button, and there is no second charge afterwards. The only direction a reconciliation can move is back towards you. We would rather you found the allowance generous than tight.
Growth and Pro carry larger allowances and we have not put a carousel count on them. The figure we would have to publish rests on measurements we are still taking, and a number we cannot stand behind is worse on a pricing page than no number at all.
Inside the product, the unit is credits
A credit is how Carouza meters the AI work it does for you. Your plan comes with an allowance of them each month, the balance sits in the corner of every screen, and every action that spends any shows what it costs on the control before you click it. Nothing is charged that you were not shown first.

The things people ask before they pay
What happens when I run out?
Nothing is deleted and nothing goes out on its own. Your carousels, drafts and connected accounts stay exactly where they are; the actions that spend credits wait for next month's allowance, or for you to move up a plan.
Is the free plan a trial?
No, and there is no clock on it. You get an amount to spend rather than a number of days, and it does not expire. When it is gone, that is when a plan starts mattering.
Can I change plan or stop?
Move up and the new allowance lands the same day. Move down or cancel and it takes effect at your renewal. The refund policy is in the legal pack and it says what it does rather than what it hopes.
Which card details do you hold?
None of them. Payment is taken by Stripe, who are the seller of record, and your card never reaches us.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Stripe is the seller of record for every purchase and handles any sales tax or VAT that is due, which is why there is no tax registration number of ours on this site. Carouza is sold by Purple Labs Inc., incorporated in British Columbia, Canada.
