Acceptable Use Policy

The principle

Carouza publishes to real accounts on real platforms in your name. Almost everything below follows from one idea: do not use it to say things you have no right to say, to accounts you have no right to post to, about people who have not agreed to it.

Content you must not create or publish

• Anything unlawful where you are, where we are, or where your audience is.
• Content that sexualises children, in any form. This is the one line where there is no conversation: we report it and we terminate the account.
• Intimate or sexual images of a person who has not consented to them being published.
• Harassment of an identifiable person, incitement to violence, or content attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, fake scarcity, fabricated reviews or testimonials, or anything designed to deceive someone into parting with money or credentials.
• Impersonation of a person, a business, a public body or of us. Do not present a brand you do not own or represent as your own.
• Health, financial, or legal claims you cannot substantiate, and any claim regulated where your audience is that you are not licensed to make.
• Malware, malicious links, or anything that attacks a reader’s device.
• Material you do not have the rights to: someone else’s photographs, logos, trademarks, or copyrighted text.

Using the AI honestly

• Do not feed it personal data you have no right to process. If you upload a customer list, a set of testimonials, or photographs of identifiable people, you are telling us you may lawfully do that.
• Read what it writes before you publish it. AI drafts are drafts. Facts about your own business are yours to check.
• Apply an AI disclosure where one is owed. The Terms of Service explain why that decision is yours and what we do and do not do automatically.
• Do not try to make the model do something this policy forbids, including by embedding instructions in a website we fetch or in content you upload.

Accounts and connections

• Connect only social accounts you own or are authorised to post to.
• Give us a website address only if you are entitled to have it fetched and read on your behalf.
• One business, one account. Do not run several unrelated businesses through a single subscription in order to avoid paying for them.

Technical limits

• Do not create accounts in order to farm free credits, including by using address variations of a mailbox you already signed up with. Free credits exist so you can try the product, not so you can run it without paying.
• Do not attempt to spend more than your plan allows, defeat a rate limit or a daily cap, or automate the product in a way it was not built for.
• Do not resell Carouza, or offer it as your own service, without a written agreement with us.
• Do not scrape the product, reverse engineer it, or attempt to extract another customer’s data. If you find a way to, tell us. There is an address below.
• Do not run security testing against our systems without written permission. We will usually give it if you ask.

The platforms' rules are yours too

Instagram and TikTok have their own policies and they apply to you directly. We do not interpret them for you and we make no representation about what any platform permits or will continue to permit.

What happens if you break this

Proportionate, in this order, and we skip steps when the harm justifies it: we ask you to stop; we suspend the account, which leaves your data intact and exportable; we terminate. For anything unlawful, we terminate immediately and may be required to report it.

A suspension for abuse does not entitle you to a refund of the period you have already paid for.
